Is Mountain Meadow Retreat pet-friendly?
Yes. Up to 3 well-behaved dogs are welcome with the applicable pet fee. Dog crates, beds, and bowls are available for guest use. Other types of pets are not permitted.
How close is the retreat to Marshall, Hot Springs, and Asheville?
Historic downtown Marshall is about 10 minutes away, while Hot Springs is approximately 15 minutes away. Asheville and access to the Blue Ridge Parkway are roughly 30 minutes away, giving guests a secluded mountain setting without being isolated from Western North Carolina's major attractions.

Normally, no. The home is reached by approximately ¾ mile of mostly level gravel road with two small hills, and standard vehicles can typically access the property. AWD may be necessary during the rare periods of significant snow or ice.
